About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Executive/Lead to optimize our digital presence and ensure strong search visibility. The role requires both technical expertise and creative problem-solving to drive organic traffic, improve rankings, and support content strategies. At the Lead level, you will also guide the SEO roadmap, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Implementation:
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices including meta tags, site structure, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Execute off-page SEO strategies such as backlink building, directory submissions, and partnerships.
- Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, and technical SEO elements.
Content & Analytics:
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO strategy with blogs, landing pages, and campaigns.
- Track and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic, providing reports and insights.
- Identify and resolve SEO-related issues (broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content).
Leadership (for Lead role):
- Develop and execute a long-term SEO strategy aligned with business goals.
- Mentor SEO executives and interns, providing guidance on tools and strategies.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure best practices.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, and marketers to implement SEO-friendly practices.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical).
- Strong understanding of Google search algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical SEO fixes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- For Lead role: proven experience in developing strategies and leading SEO initiatives.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with international SEO and multi-language websites.
- Knowledge of local SEO strategies (Google Business Profile, maps optimization).
- Familiarity with content marketing and social media integration.
